Qiyu Zhi

I'm a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Meta (since August 2020). Currently I work on multi-modal AI for smart glasses, synthetic data generation, and post-training for large language models. Previously, I worked on integrity ML modeling, where I developed ML models to detect impersonators and take them down.

I received my PhD from the University of Notre Dame, where I researched data-driven storytelling and information visualization, and my BSc from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT).
